EXL: Ethan Skuija to Tempo
Extraliga team Tempo Praha announced their first foreigner for the upcoming season on the Instagram. It is a right-handed pitcher Ethan Skuija.
Twenty-four year old Skuija was born in American Seattle, although he spent his high school years in Canadian province British Columbia where he also played baseball. He continued his craft in NCAA for CSU Bakersfield. In three seasons he had 166.2 IP with 6.25 ERA and 138 SO. Skuija also spent four years in summer leagues where he did much better with 64.1 IP and 2.52 ERA.
In Tempo he will join Marek Minařík and Jake Rabinowitz as a starter. Beside these Tempo also has Štěpán Dupal on loan.
