EXL: Marek Rejman moves to Technika Brno
It would seem Marek Rejman will prolong his playing career for another year. As reported by baseball.cz he will go on loan to Technika Brno for 2022 season.
The oldest from the veteran trio (Rejman-Budský-Navrátil) will celebrate fiftieth year of age and by playing in Extraliga, where he started in 1993. This time for Technika, Rejman returns to Extraliga after a year off. It is not his first time in Brno, as he previously played for MZLU, where he played along Aleš Navrátil, David Winkler, or Pavel Chadim. In 2014 he even joined Technika.
Based on the available career statistics, Marek Rejman bats .290. Unfortunately, statistics from 1993 and 1994 are not available, even if we know he batted 17 HR in the period, 12 of which came in 1994, which is a personal seasonal maximum. Rejman is also a member of Czech Homerun Club.
In his previous season, he played 14 games in the regular season with BA .242. In TOP 6 his role changed mainly to pinch-hitter, but even so, he had 2 hits from 7 AB. He also acted as a first base coach in many games.
