EXL: Scott Mulhearn to Hluboká on loan
A year ago, Scott Mulhearn played and coached Kotlářka Praha. After their demotion Prague team will play in First League, but Australian baseballer remains in Extraliga with Sokol Hluboká nad Vltavou.
Thirty-four year old Mulhearn will thus start his eighth Extraliga season, first time playing outside of Prague. In the past he played two seasons for Tempo before he moved to Kotlářka.
In Mulhearn Hluboká got a utility player who can play on the mound or in the inner field. In the regular season Mulhearn batted BA .347 and OBP .446 in 176 games. He also added 131.2 IP with ERA 6.49 and 7 saves.
