EXL: Třebíč can rely on Ryan Johnson again
One of the most valuable players in Czech Extraliga, Canadian Ryan Johnson is back. As he hinted for the podcast Baseball Jobs Overseas, we will be able to see him in Extraliga next year as well. He should once again wear Nuclears jersey.
Twenty nine year old baseballer entered Czech top league with a bang, when he was picked as the Player and the Pitcher of the week in the first and the second week. A Canadian continued in great performances throughout the season, both on the mound and at bat. He finished regular season with BA .333 and ERA 1.78.
He continued to drive his team forward in Promotion League as well, where he improved his batting average to .500 and finished with ERA 2.25. Thanks to this, among other things, Třebíč remained in Extraliga and fans can look forward to more showings from Canadian utility player.
