College Baseball: Marek Chlup with two more hits
College baseball continued in USA on Tuesday with a game that interested Czech fans as Marek Chlup played for North Greenville.
NGU faced Queens University, team with 4-3 record before the game. Both coaches played a number of pitchers, as none of the remained on the mound for more than two innings. This seemed to work better for NGU offense, who won 5-2 in the end. Chlup added two hits to help his team win. The first hit came in the third inning, resulting into 2 RBI and extending his team’s lead to 3-0. Czech batter now has .321 BA in seven games.
Nicolas O’Rourke also played in an exhibition game for Acalanes Dons Varsity against Las Lomas. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the result, but Czech youngest published videos of his three at bats, two of which ended up in with a hit.
