EXL: Eagles Praha signed Canadian Wilson
Eagles Praha announced another foreign signing today. Canadian pitcher David Wilson will bolster their ranks for the upcoming season.
Dave Wilson previously played for Cayuga Community College Athletics. In 2018-19 season he threw 11.1 innings with 3.97 ERA. In the following season he only played in two games, but he didn’t allow any hits in either of them. In summer 2019 Wilson also played for Syracuse Spartans, where he filled the reliever role. He threw 9.2 innings with 8.37 ERA, adding one save.
Beside baseball, Wilson can also help Eagles out with media, as he studied media communication, cinematography and movie production. He was also a baseball instructor for Extra Innings Baseball between 2015 and 2018. He continued the collaboration since 2019, this time as an assistant coach with kids between 5 and 16 years.
Wilson will be the third foreign signing for Eagles Praha. Earlier the team announced Jake MacDonald who is also from Canada and American Raymond Watt.
