EXL: James Boyce also returns to Hluboká
The last season’s Extraliga newcomer from Hluboká nad Vltavou announced they brought in another foreigner on their social pages on Monday. Hluboká’s fans can be excited as James Boyce returns.
Twenty-four year old New Zealander was one of the corner stones in the previous season. He brought quality to the team both at bat and on the mound. In the regular season he threw 44.2 innings with 2.42 ERA and 55 SO. He also added .429/.543/.571 at bat. He continued his performance in TOP 6 adding 34 innings on the mound with 3.71 ERA, 38 strikeouts and had 3 hits from 9 AB.
Duo Parson-Boyce, who played for Australian Canbera Cavalry in the past, is now reunited for 2022 season and Hluboká is not hiding its ambitions to compete for medals.
