College Baseball: Marek Chlup extended his homerun tally
College baseball continued on Friday and over the weekend. As was in the previous weeks, a number of Czechs were in the action. Only Martin Zelenka is still recovering.
Division II North Greenville played three games against Southern Wesleyan. In the end, NGU won all three of them and improved their record to 22 wins and 5 losses. Unfortunately, Marek Chlup lost his hitting streak in the first game, however, he more than made up for it in the following two, as he had a homerun in each. Chlup currently sports a 6 homerun tally. It was especially the second game that looked like a Homerun Derby for NGU, as there were 7 players who blasted the ball behind the fence.
Daniel Padyšák played as a reliever on Saturday when Charleston Southern against Radford. He threw an inning in 13-3 win, where he allowed 2 runs to the opponent.
Michal Kovala played for Combine Academy, adding 2 innings without an allowed run.
