College Baseball: Martin Zelenka finished his season

As per usual, we bring you the news on Czechs playing college and high school baseball. Unfortunately, there is one less player to follow.

Martin Zelenka shared the news on his social account, announcing he had torn his ACL and the season ended for him. Zelenka played only 4 games, hitting 3 home runs and having .533 BA.

North Greenville played another successful game on Tuesday, where they beat Lenoir-Rhyne 12-2. Marek Chlup added another hit and two RBI to his statistics.

Daniel Padyšák played for Charleston Southern again, getting in as a reliever. He recorded 2 outs, unfortunately he also walked 2 batters and allowed a hit. The opponent scored 2 runs against him. CSU lost 2-10 and is now 10-13 on the season.

Youngsters Michal Kovala and Nicolas O’Rourke also shared their performances on the social networks. The first player threw two innings against South West Virginia College without allowing a hit, while O’Rourke helped his team to a 11-3 win against Northgate High School with a hit.
