College Baseball: Padyšák has the first save. Chlup another homerun
While MLB cancelled first games, college baseball season is in full swing.
Daniel Padyšák and his Charleston Southern played on Sunday. Czech faced two batters, walking the first one, while striking out the other. He was given more playtime against The Citadel on Tuesday where he threw 2.2 innings at the end of the game, allowing only one run. The performance earned him the first save of the season.
North Greenville with Marek Chlup played a double header on Tuesday against Bluefield State. NGU handled the games excellently, adding two wins to their record (9-2 and 18-3). Chlup excelled in both games as well. In the first he had 2 hits and a walk, while he added third homerun of the season in the second game. Additionally, he also added a hit and a walk. These game increased his season BA to .429.
