College Baseball: Padyšák has the first start
Before writing about the weekend games, let’s talk about how Czechs did over the seas during the week. For now, Martin Zelenka is still out injured.
North Greenville played against North Georgia on Wednesday, taking the 6-3 win. Marek Chlup added another hit to his statistics. He currently has a six game hitting streak. Additionally, out of 20 games he played, he ended hitless in only three of them.
Daniel Padyšák played for CSU on Tuesday, this time as the starting pitcher. Unfortunately, the game didn’t go well for him, as he allowed 6 hits and 5 runs (4 earned) in 2 innings. CSU lost 5-7 to Kansas, giving Padyšák first lost of the season.
A player who continues his great form is David Bauer. He added two more hits on Tuesday, stealing three bases as well.
