EXL: American Williams will play in Třebíč. Kamil Pejchal returns
Nuclears Třebíč posted their Extraliga roster on Czech Baseball Association page. There we can see two new names, Jaylyn William and Kamil Pejchal.
Pejchal returns to the club, where he played before moving to Tübingen in German Bundesliga. In Germany Czech played in the field, but also on the mound. He threw 30 innings in the regular season, with ERA 14.10. His batting numbers are much better – .211/.347/.342. Pejchal played 4 seasons in Extraliga for Třebíč with batting .221/.315/.242.
Next player on Třebíč roaster is from USA. American Jaylyn Williams should bolster the team’s offense, but also the inner field where he can play any position. In past three years Williams played in the Division I for Jackson State and Jacksonville and his number are impressive – .355/.464/.533. In 498 PA he was also only striked out 51 times.
