College Baseball: Great days for Czech players
More college baseball games were played during the weekdays and there were several Czechs who caught people’s eye.
Marek Chlup playing for North Greenville likely had his best game of the season on Tuesday. In a run-packed game he had 3 hits and wasn’t far from Cycle, where he only missed a single. In the end, NGU won 17-11 against Lander University and is now close to 30 wins on the season.
David Bauer, a youngster playing for Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs, had another great game on Tuesday as well. In the game against Good Counsel he added 3 hits, helping his team to 13-2 win. He also had 2 stolen bases.
Michal Kovala threw three innings for Combine Academy, where he only allowed one hit and no runs. Three batters left the plate with a SO against him.
Couple of my hit from PCB PG showdown and HR #2 from today.
