EXL: Draci Brno announced two more players
Current Extraliga runner-ups announced two more foreign players on Sunday. Venezuelan Manzanero returns to Brno along with his countryman Maikel Aguiar.
Pabel Manzanero already showed he is above average Extraliga player in the previous season. In the regular season he only managed to play 5 games, however, he dominated TOP 6 when he finished 21 games with BA .412 and 7 HR. Thanks to his performance, Draci Brno finished the first in CEB Cup in France, giving Czech Republic the second spot in Champions Cup for this year.
The second announcement is a pitcher Maikel Aguilar. Similar to Manzanero, he has experience with MiLB baseball, as he spent four years as a part of Chicago Cubs organization. He went was far as Single-A level. Altogether he threw 143.2 innings in the minors with ERA 3.70 and 175 strikeouts. For the most of the time Aguilar threw as a reliever.
