EXL: Lukáš Ercoli lead Hroši to win against Nuclears
The last game of the series between Hroši Brno and Třebíč Nuclears was played on Wednesday. The home team had an opportunity to take at least one win against Hroši. However, Lukáš Ercoli would have none of it.
The player Hroši brought only this year managed to carry on his performance from Hluboká. Brno starter even improved his numbers this time, when he threw a complete game shutout. He only allowed 3 hits to the opposing team and striked out 14 batters, tying his personal best from the previous season.
Home pitchers were also throwing well, however, and the win was decided by error from Miroslav Křivánek in the second inning, after which Tyler Smith reached the base. Few moments later he was sent home thanks to Kellen Croce, scoring the only run of the game.
Hroši won by a narrow 1-0 margin, sweeping Třebíč in the series. This may yet to prove as an important win in TOP 6 battle.
