MiLB: Adam Macko earned his first loss

Slovak pitcher Adam Macko started for Everett AquaSox on Wednesday. However, this was not to be his day as he had the worst game of the season.

AquaSox played against minors team of Colorado Rockies, Spokane Indians. Spokane had both top Rockies prospects Zac Veen and Drew Romo. And each of them had their hands in the good start of their team, when they earned an RBI against Macko at the beginning of the game. Young Slovak remained in the game until the fifth inning, allowing 6 runs. The fact that it was a day off was further marked by Macko “only” striking out 5 batters. In the end, Everett lost 3-9 and are currently 5-11 on the season.

Brian Solack on Twitter: “Adam Macko strikes out their clean up hitter to end the 4th. 4-0 other team. Macko keeps fighting, not his night but impressed by his composure. Frogs ? bats need to wake up. @SeattleSportsU @EverettAquaSox @MiLBMariners @ProspectInsider @macko_vlad pic.twitter.com/ChAClilC53 / Twitter”
