MiLB: Adam Macko moves up a level
Slovak baseballer Adam Macko move up a level in Seattle Mariners organization. While he played for Modesto Nuts in the previous season (Single-A), he will play for Everett AquaSox (High-A) this year.
Macko already played a game for Everett in the past. In 2019 season he threw two innings, without allowing any runs. Back then, Everett was at A level in the old minors system. Slovak pitcher played the remainder of 2019 season in AZL Mariners at Rookie level. This year, he will play at the third highest minors level and we will keep our fingers crossed and hope to see him in Double-A Arkansas Travelers soon.
In the previous season Macko played for Modesto Nuts, throwing 33.1 innings, with ERA 4.59 and 56 strikeouts. He played in nine games, every time as a starting pitcher. He should play his first game for AquaSox on Saturday.
