MiLB: Adam Macko with another great outing
Slovak pitcher Adam Macko, playing for Everett Mariners, had another great game on Thursday where he played against Tri-City Dust Devils.
Macko played his third game of the season against the Los Angeles Angels minors team. Unlike in the previous ones, he remained on the mound for 6 innings, only allowing 2 runs. Besides that, he also striked out 10 batters and walked no one. Unfortunately, his teammates were unable to hold the 3-2 lead and the game went to the extra innings. Devils then scored 3 runs in the 10th inning, while AquaSox didn’t manage to catch up with them.
We can still be happy with a consistent performance from Macko, who now has 26 strikeouts in 16 IP, while only walking 3 batters. Batters only have .186 BA against him. It is thus clear why MLB Pipeline noticed the young pitcher.
