College Baseball: Marek Chlup took the award for the best batter of the conference
College and high school baseball regular season finished over the weekend. The sight of Czech fans was set at North Greenville, where Marek Chlup competed for the conference batting title.
North Greenville played three games against Barton College. Chlup played in all three of them adding 2 more hits to his statistics. And one of them was a homerun, giving him 11 HR on the season. NGU finished the season in the first spot of Conference Carolinas with score 41-8. They will enter the conference tournament on Thursday, where they will attempt to get to the regional NCAA tournament.
