EU: Legionäre kept the first place
There was only one Czech playing in the European competitions in the previous week, namely Jan Tomek in German Bundesliga.
Guggenberger Legionäre played two games against Mannheim and managed to win both games. Tomek played on the mound in the second game, when he pitched in the last inning, where Mannheim scored their only run. The run, however, was unearned. Guggenberger won 7-1 and the wins kept them in the first place of Bundesliga South. They currently hold record 20-2.
