EXL: Arrows still can’t beat Draci. Třebíč waiting for their first win
Extraliga TOP6 continued with two games on Saturday, with both Brno teams taking a win.
Hroši Brno – Třebíč Nuclears 2-0
Fans had a chance to see a great pitching duel in Brno, which, in the end, went better to the home starter. Jon Kennedy didn’t allow any runs in six innings he pitched while striking out 8 batter. Ryan Johnson also pitched well, remaining on the mound for seven innings and dealing 13 SO. Unfortunately, Hroši managed to score two runs against him in the sixth inning. Kellen Croce closed the game for Brno team and added another Save to his statistics. Třebíč thus still waits for their first win in TOP6.
Arrows Ostrava – Draci Brno 3-8
Ostrava lost all four games they played against Draci this season so far. But they entered the fifth game positively, when they scored two runs in the first inning. However, Pabel Manzanero responded with a three run homerun against Alec Lemmon in the third and Draci took the lead. Brno team kept the lead for the remainder of the game and they kept increasing it. Draci earned 14 hits, scoring 8 runs in the end and they will travel to Champions Cup after winning 8-3. On the other hand, Arrows now have 3 losses in TOP6 and are currently in the fourth spot.
