Jan Tomek returns to senior national team
While pitcher Jan Tomek hinted on the end of his player’s career, everything seems to be different. A long term core player of the national team should add more games in the Czech colors to his name.
Player, who started in Frýdek-Místek should strengthen Pavel Chadim’s team in the upcoming Prague Baseball Week. If his performance gets him a spot in the final roster that will play at qualification tournament for World Baseball Classic 2023, he wouldn’t even need to move. Tomek currently played in German Bundesliga for Guggenberger Legionäre in Regensburg that will host the tournament. He threw 14 innings in Bundesliga this year, achieving ERA 2.57 and 14 SO.
