Marek Chlup in NCAA Division II All-American Team
Czech baseballer Marek Chlup, who is playing for Division II North Greenville this year, achieved another individual award. This time he was named in NCAA Division II All-American First Team.
The best lineup is picked by American Baseball Coach Association (ABCA) aloing with Rawlings. There 12 position players and 5 pitchers nominated. Czechs fans can be excited about Marek Chlup being nominated as well this year. He managed to get to Division II World Series this year with North Greenville, despite being the only player of the team to get to the lineup. Hopefully this success will help Chlup to be picked by an MLB organization in the upcoming MLB draft.
