EC U12: Czechs decisively beat Germany and finished the first in the group
The last game of the group stage went smoothly for Czech national team when they played against Germany. Czechs beat their opponent 16-3 in 5 innings.
Czechs started to shape their win early, when they got 11 batters in the game and scored 7 runs. Adam Šťastný was the best of them, when he finished as the only player with 4 hits.
Batters were supported by a pitching duo Václav Novák and Ondřej Puš, who only allowed 6 hits and 3 runs in 5 innings.
Czechs now have two dominant wins in the tournament and they finished Group B with 31 runs scored and only 8 runs scored against. They will play the loser of the afternoon game in Group A, which will be either Netherlands, or Italy. Were Czechs to win the game, they will ensure their spot at World Cup next year.
