Enclave of Czech baseballers in Europe grew a little once again. Let’s take a look on how they did in the previous week.

Daniel Vavruša now plays in German Bundesliga and he already got to play for his new team. As Heidenheim played against Guggenberger Legionäre Vavruša also played against one of his countrymen. The game between the first two teams in Group South went better for Vavruša’s team, as they won both games. Vavruša also got his first hit. Jan Tomek entered the game in the second game while his team was 1-3 behind. He allowed 2 hits and 1 run in two innings.

After an injury Jiří Vavruša returned to the lineup of ASAK Athletics who play in Austrian Bundesliga. He threw the last inning in the second game against Hard Bulls and he didn’t allow any runs as his team won 5-1.

David Mergans returned to Milan after the international break and he once again got a chance to play, this time against Junior Parma B.C.. Czech pitcher, as became a habit, substituted the starter, this time Ernest Garavito. Mergans got in the game during the fifth inning as his team was leading 2-0.
