EXL: Draci allegedly signed Morao and Sánchez
After announcing return of Juan Jaime for 2023 season, Draci allegedly signed two more players from South America. It is younger pitcher Gabriel Morao and catcher Kleyder Sánchez. The information was published on SR Company Instagram profile.
Gabriel Morao is an experienced pitcher, who, beside Venezuelan league, also played in Mexico. He played 2 seasons in Venezuelan LMBP. However, in 2022 he only threw 4 innings, with ERA 2.25. A year later he threw 10.1 innings with ERA 1.74.
Kleyder Sánchez should come for Pabel Manzanero, whose return is, according to our information, unlikely. Twenty three year old Sánchez was part of minors organizations of Chicago White Sox, where he got as far as A+. He played 99 games in minors, with BA .249. According to Baseball America magazine, he has good hands and accurate arm. Before signing with White Sox in 2016, Sánchez had more reps in the outfield.
