EXL: Jake Rabinowitz should strengthen Třebíč Nuclears
Information system of Czech Baseball Association showed an interesting trade. This time they path went from Prague to Vysočina. According to the information, national team pitcher Jake Rabinowitz was traded to Třebíč. Trade is yet to be finalized, however.
American, who received Czech citizenship in the previous year, spent his whole Czech career in Tempo Praha. There he played 307 games, with BA .313, OBP .411 and 213 RBI. He also threw 848.2 innings with ERA 4.04 and 780 K. However, in the previous season Rabinowitz only played 14 games, which amounted to the least in 9 seasons he played in Extraliga. It can be expected his new team will use the pitcher in bullpen, where he could become a long reliever.
After return of Lukáš Hlouch, Třebíč brings another player to strengthen their pitching. This year they should have a quartet of Lukáš Smejkal, Lukáš Pacal, Ryan Johnson and Tadeáš Kalčev available. Their manager Jeffrey Barto can also add to the mix.
