EXL: Luis Rengel seems to be moving to Hroši Brno
After two years spent in Czech Republic, Venezuelan pitcher Luis Rengel seems to be switching clubs. Based on the story he posited on his Instagram account, he should wear Hroši kit next year.
In the story Rengel writes “New team, new goals”, while he tagged Hroši. Previous seasons runner-up would gain a pitcher, who is able to throw 100 pitches in any given start, and is known to be able to go way above this limit. He played for Blansko and Technika in the past two season, throwing 91 innings, with ERA 3.96 and 136 K. He was instrumental in keeping Technika in Extraliga in the previous season.
This would also be the first time Rengel play for a team with more ambition in Czech Republic. New could would give him more challenge to face fighting for a spot in the starting rotation, when compared to Blansko, or Technika.
