Czechs finished the preparation with a win against Valencia

National team played their third and final friendly game again Astros de Valencia on Sunday.

Czech started with the hero of Regensburg Martin Schneider on the mound, who remained pitching for 3 innings, where he allowed a solo homerun, which gave Valencial the lead in the second inning.

However, Czech responded quickly, first tying thanks to RBI double from Filip Smola in third inning. This was followed by a double from Milan Prokop, who eventually scored after a defensive error.

The fourth run came in the fifth inning, when Marek Krejčiřík hit scored Willie Escala. Sixth inning saw Jakub Hajtmar send two more runs home, which marked the final score at 6-1.

Czech national team thus won two, and tied one, of the three games against Valencia. The team will now move home before flying to Japan a week later, where the World Baseball Classic awaits them.
