EXL: Třebíč introduced their foreign signings
Extraliga team Třebíč Nuclears ramped up their activity in the offseason this year. Beside announcing players from Czech Republic, they also introduced foreign players, Teddy Beaudet and Jeff Costello who will play for them this season.
Twenty four year old Teddy Beaudet has plenty of experience from college baseball, where he played 5 years in NCAA Northeastern Huskies. In five seasons he played 80 games, with AVG .255 and OBP .355. He played mostly as a catcher and first baseman. Huskies also used him in the outfield.
Jeff Costello played with Beaudet at the university, however, his position was in the outfield. His batting numbers are even better, as is the case with his younger teammate. Costello played 191 games for Huskies with AVG .275, OBP .361 and 106 RBI.
