College Baseball: Three Czechs in action
College baseball in USA continued with more games in the previous week, this time without Daniel Padyšák and Marek Chlup who joined the national team in Japan.
Pitt Community played four games against Louisburg College with Martin Zelenka playing in two of them. Unfortunately, Pitt lost both with Czech earning 1 hit from 5 AB.
We forgot to include Tomáš Říčný‚s performance from the previous week. Czech player shone against McCook Community College where he played all three games ending with 4 hits and 3 RBI from 8 AB. Northeastern Junior College thus got 2 wins in the series. Říčný currently sits on .500 BA and is the best batter of his team. NEJC played more games over the weekend, however, we currently don’t have stats from the games.
Marcus Weinzimer played a game against Santa Barbara City College, however, he didn’t get any hit, although he stole a base. In the end his team won 4-3.
David Bauer is yet to play a game for Embry-Riddle Eagles as he is currently injured. His school currently has 10 wins from 15 games.
