First League: SaBaT Praha added Australian Joshua Paull
SaBaT Praha added another foreigner before the second round of First League. It is Australian Joshua Paull.
Twenty year old Paull should, based on the club’s social networks, play for the team in First League, but also in U21 Extraliga. He arrives to Prague after years spent in Victoria Park/Belmont Reds. His previous club plays in the top regional league in Victoria. This is where Mikuláš Hanuš met the young player and helped to get the deal done.
Paull was part of a number of youth rosters and even played at Cal Ripken World Series in 2015. He played mostly in the outfield with Reds and was their leadoff. In the last State Baseball League season he played 28 games for Reds, where he finished with BA .172 and OBP .304.
