EXL: Arrows lost the last game of the regular season
There wasn’t much at stake in the Friday makeup game between Sokol Hluboká and Arrows Ostrava. That’s why we got to see a bullpen day from the home team.
Hluboká gave Alec Lemmon two innings to start the game, but afterwards we could see their young players. Despite this, Arrows remained scoreless until the seventh inning.
Sokol, on the other hand, took the lead in the second inning, after Camden Vasquez scored in a run. Martin Mužík had 3 runs, being the best batter of the game with 3 hits. In the end home team scored 6 runs.
The second inning saw Aleš Navrátil improve his vast hitting pool, but that was it from Arrows, who lost the last game of the regular season 1-6. Ostrava finished with record 7-14, which means they only won 33.3% of their games. Arrows only had worse winning percentage three times in their history (1999, 2002, 2010). Hluboká will play one more game against Hroši on Sunday.
