First League: Blansko will play in Promotion League. SaBaT out of contention
The last doubleheader of First League decided who will advance to Promotion League. After two wins in Jablonec, it’s Blansko. This also meant SaBaT finished just outside the gates.
Olympia knew they needed at least one win to advance. And they managed to do so in their first game. They were already leading 4-0 before the bottom of the third, but home team made the game more dramatic, after they tied the game at 4-4. However, Blansko kickstarted their offensive again in the seventh inning and build the lead, eventually winning 12-4.
Blesk started the second game with 2 runs, but Blansko responded with 4 of their own. Olympia was ahead 10-4 after four innings, however Blesk was having a good middle of the games and they managed to tie the game at 12-12. And this where extra innings started. Blansko decided the game with a grand slam homerun and beat Blesk for the second time in the series.
After two wins, Olympia moved to the second place. SaBaT moved down to 5th and won’t play in Promotion League, despite having the same record as Skokani.
