Daniel Padyšák changes university. He will play for Georgia Bulldogs
Czech national pitcher announced via his Instagram that he changes universities for the upcoming season. He moves from Charleston Southern to Georgia University.
Georgia University has one of the oldest university programs, being founded in 1886. It also has a historical reputation for being one of the most popular sport campuses in USA. Georgia also won one NCAA Division I title in 1990 and was among the best college teams in Omaha 5 times.
Padyšák plays in USA since 2020. He threw 167.1 innings for Charleston Southern, with ERA 4.63 and 160 strikeouts. He was also nominated to MLB Draft League this year, where he threw 15.2 innings with ERA 0.57 and was the best pitcher of the first week.
Former Kotlářka player was part of Pavel Chadim’s team that played World Baseball Classic in Japan. He played two games, where he allowed two runs in four innings, while striking out 4 batters.
