Daniel Padyšák will play in MLB Draft League

Major League Baseball founded summer Draft League in 2021. Talented players from universities get a chance to showcase in front of scouts there. And this year, Czech pitcher Daniel Padyšák will be a part of it.

Twenty two year old Padyšák played his 4th year at Charleston Southern University and it was his best season to date. He threw 42.1 inning with ERA 3.19 and 46 strikeouts. He played more of a reliever role this year, and was part of 16 games, only two times as a starter.

This will also be Padyšák’s third summer league in a row, after he played for famous Savannah Bananas last year. He follows in the footsteps of Marek Chlup who played in MLB Draft League last year for West Virginia Black Bears. Padyšák will be a part of State College Spikes.

MLB Draft League starts on 1st of June and all games will be broadcast on league’s web page.
