EXL: Draci Brno beat Hroši 10-4

The last couple of games from previous week’s Extraliga round will be played this week. The first one saw Draci beat their city rival Hroši.

While Draci took the lead after Milan Prokop’s solo homerun, the middle of the game belonged to Hroši. They found a way to hit against Jan Vašourek and after a hit from Mathias Schwarzinger Hroši stopped Vašourek’s streak without runs allowed. Home team then added two more runs in the fifth inning and Draci starter had to be substituted.

Tomáš Ondra had another solid game on the mound where he only allowed one run in five innings. Lukáš Ercoli then came in instead of Ondra and this substitution kickstarted Draci offense. Visiting batters came alive and tied the game with three runs. The seventh inning went even worse for the home team. Thanks to a few defensive errors Draci scored four more runs and an inning later they got double digits in the run column.

While substitution of the pitcher invigorated visitors, Jackson Solarte had the opposite effect. Hroši were not able to get any hits against him for the remainder of the game. Solarte earned his third win and currently holds ERA 2.54.
