Eagles took the lead in the fifth inning again, when Jan Výbora sent Šimon Blažek home. At that point Prague had a new man on the mound, as Panama Emmanuel Herrera pitched his first Extraliga game. However, he didn’t had a good premier as Hroši scored 10 runs against him (8 ER). This was enough to give home team a comfortable win.

Matěj Menšík, playing for the home team, had an active game, adding 3 hits and currently holding BA .500 in TOP 6. David Fiala also added 3 hits, despite playing in the 8th place in the lineup. Tempo Praha – Sokol Hluboká 9-2

Hluboká still waited for their first TOP 6 win before Saturday and after a home game against Tempo they will have to wait for at least one more game. South Bohemians started the game well after Martin Mužík blasted a two run homerun in the first inning. However, Tempo starter Marek Minařík managed to respond with a solo homerun in the following half inning, which seemed to get him a bit more confidence. He remained on the mound for six innings and didn’t allow Sokol any more runs.

On the other hand Tempo didn’t have Martin Červenka in their lineup, but they slowly started to press in the offense. They were able to tie the game in the fourth inning, also thanks to a defensive error.

Štěpán Dupal didn’t allow any runs or hits to Sokol in the last three innings and Tempo added their first win of the series. It will now continue in Prague on Sunday.
