EXL: David Wilson returns to Eagles Praha
Shortly before the end of signing period, Eagles Praha announced a familiar name. Canadian player David Wilson returns to bolster their pitching depth.
Twenty four year old Wilson played in Extraliga in the previous season, where he also played for Eagles. He wasn’t very convincing back then, as he played 13 games with 52.2 IP and ERA 7.34. Wilson had issues with control, walking 34 batters.
He also played for Cayuga Community College Athletics in the past. In 2018-19 season he threw 11.1 innings with ERA 3.97. He only played 2 games in the following season, where he didn’t allow any hits. He also joined Syracuse Spartans for 2019 summer league, where he played as a reliever. He threw 9.2 innings for Spartans with ERA 8.37. He also earned a Save.
