EXL: Decisive win for Tempo who beat Hluboká
There was only one TOP 6 game played on Wednesday with Tempo beating Hluboká.
But for two thirds of the game it looked like anything but an easy game for Prague team. Tempo got an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the score didn’t change until the sixth inning, when Martin Červenka manufactured the third run for the visitors.
Bottom half saw the home team score for the first time, after they reached the home base 2 times. However, Tempo bats came to life afterwards, and they scored 10 runs in three innings. Martin Červenka and Marke Minařík were among the most active, as they both had four hits. Červenka also had 6 RBI. Sokolo had troubles in the defense and finished with 5 errors.
As the game took part in the middle of the week, both managers spread their pitching and we got to see 12 different players on the mound.
After a 13-3 win, Tempo became the second team, behind Draci, to reach 10 wins in TOP 6 and they are only a step away from the semifinals. On the other hand, Hluboká has 9 losses from 12 games and is currently in the last spot of TOP 6 table.
