Padyšák named MLB Draft League’s Pitcher of the Month
Czech pitcher Daniel Padyšák earned another important accolade. He was named Pitcher of the Month for June in MLB Draft League.
Twenty two year old Padyšák earned the award after throwing with ERA 0.57, 22 SO, and 2 Saves in 8 games there he played as a reliever. He is also the second in the league with WHIP 0.77, ERA and saves, and the third best in number of innings pitched among relievers.
Padyšák was named Pitcher of the Week (1st-4th June) earlier this month. He earned his first Save on the Opening Day, when he striked out 3 batters in 2 innings. He had even better game on 4th of June, when he striked out 8 in 3 innings. His next two games saw him throw 2 clean innings in both games. He allowed the first run on 18th of June against Frederick, but quickly finished a successful month with 3 more games without a run allowed.
These are really good numbers for the upcoming MLB Draft, despite announcing he would continue at Georgia University.
