Czechs improved by one place in WBSC ranking
World Baseball and Softball Confederation WBSC, published new men’s baseball rankings on Tuesday. Czechs improved by one place and are currently sitting in 15th spot.
They overtook Colombia, now being 35 points ahead. Czechs are 64 points behind Canada, but there’s still a gap between them and 12th place which would ensure their place in Premier 12. The gap is 341 points.
Czechs are the third best European team after Netherlands (7th) and Italy (12th). Germany (17th), Israel (19th), and Great Britain (20th) are still behind them. Slovakia decreased by 3 positions, currently sitting in 37th place. They are, however, only 5 points behind New Zealand in 34th.
Nothing changed in the first three places, with Japan, USA, and Mexico all remaining still. South Korea overtook Taiwan in the fourth place.
