Czech roster for European Championship revealed. Without Padyšák
WBSC Europe publish rosters for the upcoming European Championship. These can still be change, as each team can swap three players at most till the first technical meeting.
Czechs fans will be interested in knowing which players were picked by manager Pavel Chadim. He unfortunately won’t have players from USA universities available. The biggest absence is Daniel Padyšák, who is one of the players which were not cleared for play by his school.
On the other hand, we get to see Jeff Barto, who earned his Czech citizenship in the previous week. Tomáš Ondra, who had a great Extraliga season, also earned his spot. Great performance at U18 World Cup also earned the invitation for Michael Dominik Senay.
Fans in Ostrava and Brno can also look forward to seeing Eric Sogard, Willie Escala, Martin Schneider, and Martin Červenka.
Czech Extraliga will see a number of their players representing other teams, too. Samuel Steigert, who pitched for Eagles Praha is on Germany roster. Current champion Andres Angulo, who was born in Colombia, earned Spanish passport and will be playing for them at the Championship.
