EXL: Emmanuel Herrera returns to Eagles
Panama pitcher Emmanuel Herrera returns to Czech Extraliga. The same as the year before he should join Eagles from Prague. The club confirmed the information on their social network pages.
Herrera joined Eagles in June in the previous year and in the end he played 9 games with Eagles. He threw 46 innings with ERA 5.09, 32 SO, and 1.696 WHIP. He also earned quality start 4 times, meaning he threw at least 6 innings without allowing four or more runs.
He then played in winter league in Guatemala for Diablos Rojos. There he threw 22.2 innings, allowing 13 runs, but striking out 20. Rojos got to the finals in a four team league, where they lost to Bronx.
