Marek Chlup will play for Lake County again
Czech national team infielder Marek Chlup continues his career overseas. He agreed on terms with Lake County DockHounds, the cloud where he played 34 games in the previous season.
The American Association club announced it on 29th of December through their social networks, adding Chlup had good numbers for them (.325/.393/.627, 9HR and 25 RBI).
Chlup joined the team after finishing at North Greenville University, where he played for 3 season, once in NCAA DII World Series. In 2022 he also got a chance to play in newly formed MLB Draft League for West Virginia. This will be Chlup’s sixth season in USA.
