EXL: Eagles Praha signed a Japanese pitcher
Twitter profile More Dream Japan brought an information that Eagles Praha signed Japanese pitcher Natsuki Tamba.
Right handed pitcher played for Unebi high school, then followed to play in Kobe University and joined Sakai Shrikes, which plays in the independent Kandok League, in the previous season. His team was close to winning the title, but in the end they lost to Wakayama and missed out on the fourth title in the row.
Based on the information from Sakai’s club page he has three pitches, out of which slider is supposed to be his strongest pitch. His fast reaches top speed 143 km/h. Tamba threw 35.1 innings in the previous season, he allowed 13 runs while striking out 31 batters and walking 10. His WHIP was at solid 0.93.
