MLB: Adam Macko part of MLB Spring Breakout
Pitcher Adam Macko, who was traded to Toronto Blue Jays in the previous season, still waits for his chance to play for the Canadian team. While he was part of the roster, he didn’t play any of the Spring Training games. But this should soon change. His club made him a part of Spring Training Breakout roster.
MLB decided to to bring a new series called MLB Spring Breakout this year. The series will offer a sixteen games with the prospects of the teams playing each other. And since Slovak Adam Macko is #9 in MLB Pipeline, it is little surprise Blue Jays made him a part of the roster for the event.
Toronto will play against Yankees on 16th of March as a part of MLB Spring Breakout and Slovak might get a chance to play his first game against an interesting opponent. Furthermore, he would be the first Slovak to play an MLB game since 1961, when Elmer Valo played for Philadelphia Phillies.
