SaBaT’s new head coach is Kryštof Dupal
SaBaT Praha, who play in First League, announced a change of their head coach. This season they will be lead by one of their active players Kryštof Dupal. The club confirmed the news on their social pages.
Kryštof Dupal will take the helm after Matej Šišolák who started to coach Slovak national team in the previous year. „I would confirm my role to a playing captain, who will make sure everything works as expected. We have a lot of young players, who need to work hard, so I’m looking forward to see them fight for their roster spot and show what they got,“ SaBaT cited their new head coach. His first game will be on Saturday against Technika Brno.
SaBaT Praha is a well known team on Czech baseball map. However, they only played 3 seasons (1997, 1998, 2020) in Extraliga, with their best place being 5th. Most of their time was spent in First League instead.
