WBSC Europe announced the schedule for U12 European Championship
U12 national teams will have the peak of their season in July in German Paderborn, when U12 European Championships will take place there. Eight teams will compete for the crow of Europe.
WBSC Europe announced the schedule for the tournament at the beginning of the week and Czech team now knows they will be a part of Group A. There they meet the hosts, France, and Ukraine. Netherlands, Italy, Austria, and Lithuania will compete in Group B.
Czechs will open the tournament on 2nd of July at 10:30 against France. A day later they face Ukraine and they will close the group stage on the 4th of July against Germany.
The first two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals. Medal games are planned for 6th of July.
Czechs finished 4th on the tournament in the previous year and they are consistently ranked high in this category. With 23 medals they are currently first, with Italy in the second place with 13 medals.
Slovakia will host qualification tournament
Slovak city of Trnava will host qualifications for U12 European Championship between 3rd and 7th of July. Eighth teams will face each other to determine who will advance to the main tournament in the next year. Hosts from Slovakia will play against Israel, Hungary, and Great Britain. The second group will see games between Belgium, Bulgaria, Poland, and Romania.
