ČBA started 2024 All Star Game voting
The same as in the previous year, fans get to pick the players who will play for Extraliga team against the national team as a part of All Star Game at Tempo’s field. They will get a chance to pick from Extraliga players, excluding 11 players who Pavel Chadim picked for his team.
There were several chances to rules when compared to the previous year. ČBA is more strict about the allowed number of votes as each fan can only vote once. If the association finds someone was voting multiple times, no votes will be counted.
Furthermore, only the first name in the voting will count for each position. If the winner rejects the offer to play in the All Star Game, it doesn’t automatically mean the second player will be asked to come instead. Instead, the substitute will be picked by Extraliga team manager Hynek Čapka. The aim of the game is for the national team to play against the strongest possible opponent before Prague Baseball Week.
Fans can vote at extraliga.baseball.cz/allstar. The voting ends on the last day of May.
Besides voting, fans can also buy the ticket for All Star Game, which are now available through Ticketportal. One ticket costs 249 CZK.
